Hello everyone,
I also typed up my introduction because I wasn’t sure if my video would work.
My name is Nathaniel Savel. I am currently a senior in the Bachelors in Emergency Management program with a concentration in Fire Administration. Before my Bachelors I got my Associate’s degree through UAF in Fire Science while working at the University Fire Department first as a Firefighter/EMT and then I transitioned over to Fire Prevention and worked with our Fire Marshal at UFD. I just recently moved to Seattle, Washington and work in Renton, Washington as a Deputy Fire Marshal for the Renton Regional Fire Authority, conducting fire inspections, fire investigation, and public education. I am originally from Palmer, Alaska where I grew up in a family with one brother and one sister who are both older than me. Some of my hobbies include hiking, skiing, and playing hockey. Something that is on my bucket list is to travel to other parts of Europe. Last summer I backpacked around Italy, France, Belgium, and Germany but I would really like to spend more time traveling and doing that sort of thing. I’m excited for this class with all of you!

says:Hi Nathaniel, I went to Italy about 5 years ago and loved it. That is so awesome that you got to backpack through that many places. I am hoping to travel to as many places as I possibly can. I hope you enjoy your time in Seattle, I enjoyed Washington the few times I have been there.
